Tools: Corpus Manager (Coma)
The EXMARaLDA Corpus-Manager (CoMa) is designed to merge transcripts created with the EXMARaLDA Partiture-Editor with their corresponding recordings into corpora and enrich them with metadata. This metadata can be about speakers, communications (settings), recordings and the actual transcripts. Search methods can be used upon that metadata to generate subcorpora, which themselves can be used as a basis for other EXMARaLDA tools.
CoMa is written in Java and can be used under every operating system containing an up-to-date Java VM.
The download is free of charge. If you intend to use the software, we appreciate your feedback.

The latest version of the Corpus Manager is available from the Download Area.
The most recent versions of Coma (1.0 and higher) require Java 6.0 or higher to run. If there is no such version for your operating system (as for Mac OS before 10.5.2), please refer to the Java 5-versions, which offer a limited functionality and are no longer supported. CoMa-releases before version 0.4.4 contain a bug and should be updated immediately!
The release-history "history.txt" and todo for Coma can be looked into here.
A unfinished, german tutorial for Coma is available here.
To help you getting started with Coma, we put a demo-corpus online.
Questions and comments regarding installation and usage of CoMa should be directed by telephone or by e-mail towards Kai Wörner.
